Our skinwear is made using regenerated ECONYL®, a material that supports the principles of a circular economy by turning waste into resource. It’s our way of offering an alternative to traditional sunscreens, which can harm both skin and marine life through chemical runoff and packaging waste.
Econyl® is a 100% regenerated nylon yarn made from pre- and post-consumer waste materials that, instead of being discarded in landfills and polluting the planet, are recovered and recycled by Aquafil through a complex chemical process that makes it possible to obtain a product with the same characteristics and performance as one made from fossil raw materials.
